The SkyWest Travel Center is seeking a friendly, positive individual, who must be able to multi-task and with a passion for working in a busy environment.
We need someone with an excitement for travel who understands the travel industry and has a desire to promote this valuable benefit to our employees.
The individual must be extremely efficient while handling multiple phone calls, walk-in traffic and ticket processing.
Primary Job Duties:
Travel Programs Liaison is responsible for overseeing a team of travel coordinators, tracking and ensuring consistent and appropriate use of SkyWest’s extensive travel programs, managing travel projects, producing travel related reports as requested, and driving initiatives in support of SkyWest's overall Travel Programs, and most importantly educating employees on travel policies, usage and eligibility.
Liaison with SkyWest’s partner carriers regarding leisure and COBUS travel programs and policy, ensuring all programs are current, executed appropriately, and understood by all parties
Oversight and development of SkyWest ZED program, including current and potential ZED relationships
Oversee the administration of each partner’s Company Business travel program, ensuring consistent understanding, tracking, analysis, and compliance
Coordinate with IT resources to manage employee travel authorization, partner and ZED travel programs
Partner with Corporate Communications to develop information relative to our travel programs as well as content for the SkyWest Online Travel home page
Direct oversight of all Travel Center activities, team of Generalists, including resource utilization tracking, trending, and allocation
Ownership of department Travel Coordinator information, training, and records
Manage administration of employee travel misconduct, partnering with HR when necessary
Minimum Requirements:
Proven leadership skills and positive ability to drive success within a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Web
Strong interpersonal acumen and skills
Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and proven ability to execute
Strong business acumen and knowledge of airline industry and employee work groups
Provide a safe, open and positive work environment
Drive for results and timely completion of assignments
Ability to lead in a team environment
Preferred Skills:
Solid understanding of Airline Operations
Strong, current, and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends
Current or previous Travel Center experience
Familiar with space available policies and procedures
Experience in managing projects, contracts & procurement processes
Proficient at partner reservations systems, Ultipro and iManage systems
Ability to work within tight budgets and to gauge impact of expenditures
Willingness to travel
Experience in the transportation and/or airline industry
Ability to work with senior management
Physical and Other Requirements:
Ability to work at a desk and on a computer for long periods of time
